The Chicago Ensemble
Discover America

The Chicago Ensemble has always been devoted to the discovery and encouragement of young American composers. Our Discover America program receives submissions from composers all over the country. Winning entries are  performed at special and regular season concerts of The Chicago Ensemble. This program encourages young composers, giving them much-needed opportunities to have their works performed, as well as bringing unfamiliar and sometimes challenging works to Chicago chamber music audiences.
